Not much done today due to some family obligations, but removed hood, doors, trunk lid and stored them away. Body is not exactly where I want it to cut slots for the windshield, cockpit and trunk tub need some minor cuts to move just a bit to make some adjustment.

After making some adjustments to body's location, I went ahead made the first cuts on the body for the arm slots for the windshield.
Assembled the arms on the windshield and got them as best they could and thru it back in the box for next weekend when I'll have some help.

Nice job. Yep having a 2nd person helps a lot. As you know I was stopped in my tracks with the 1 brace hole way off on my frame. Anyway keep up the good work. I'll have some updates soon.

Today I was able to get the windshield set in place after massaging the slot just a little more on the driver's side. I was able to drill both holes on each side without having to remove the legs from the frame and body to get the upper holes done. Started holes with 1/4" and then finished with 3/8". Will cut the legs off later and back into the box it went. Later in the day I was able to get some help to remove the body and it get it up on body buck in a matter of minutes.

Just a little weekend update...Goal this weekend was to get the differential and rear axle completed and installed. Well that did not happen, the limited slip that was shipped with the diff was not what I ordered and will have to wait on the right one. Hopefully that won't take too long.
I proceeded in putting together the trailing arms, 3rd link and panhard bar. Assembled the coil overs for all 4 corners.
Once the frame is powder coated, most if not all bolt holes need to be drilled out or reamed for the bolts to fit. After that, I placed all bolts and nuts in their respective location at the front and rear suspension points.
Waiting on the rod ends for the front suspension, is why it's not together yet, but managed to run a bottoming tap in the lower control arms in preparation for the rod ends, this is absolutely necessary. Thinking that safety retaining washers may be needed for the upper control arm rod ends should one fail, so will picking up a few of those soon for when I assemble them.
Have seen some who have had issues with the rubber bushings for the steering rack, so I picked up these blue urethane bushings from Cardone.

Good move on the steering bushings. Mine went bad just while I was building the car.

Update on third member for rear axle...Alec was able to make a couple of phone calls and it looks like a new one will be shipped out today direct to me from John's with the correct limited slip. Hope it shows up in time for the weekend!!

On Friday, the replacement center section arrived with the Eaton TrueTrac limited slip installed just in time for the weekend. Got it installed yesterday onto the housing, ended up brushing on 2 coats of black Rust Oleum Hammered out of a can. Pics when wet and pleased with results. Onto the axles...

So if you have read your installation manual, you see a pic of the axle with the bearing, spacer and mounting bracket assembled. The axles arrived without the spacer and bracket installed. A loose mounting bracket with a cutout was supplied for installation. I hadn't located the spacer and thought I did not have it and how was I to install. I have the stock rear brake package and found the spacers in with the rear calipers. It was suggested I cut the spacer in half into two pieces and glue them to the bearing as mentioned in the manual. I decided to use the same principle used for the mounting bracket and cut a section out of spacer to get it onto the axle to retain the bearing and axle. I also spray painted the mounting brackets black to prevent corrosion. Will be working on the axles today and see how that goes after I get the rear end mounted to the chassis.
