Nice I hope the weather is clear for your trip! I'd love to do the same but time and work just does not make it possible. Hey at least we are both in the final stages!! Fun times ahead!

Picked ours up in a raging snow storm in 2012, little dicey pulling the trailer till we got back south.

That is something we hope to avoid. Not sure if we're going to have an open or enclosed trailer when I do.

When I picked up my FFR in Feb 2000 we had a open trailer. The sand and salt made a freakin mess of the kit. Even with it cleaned up the aluminum still started to pit. So if you have to go open trailer think about wrapping the kit up with shipping pallet plastic. And wrap it well!! Our trip was only 200 miles from Wareham Mass back to CT.

Got a an update today, headers and sidepipes are now off to be ceramic coated and frame is back from powder coat.
Just waiting on a few small items and should be ready for pick up in about 3 weeks if all goes well with the fiberglass shop.

I sure hope they fit around the footbox and align to the body once you put it all together.  Mine were way off and had to be heated, bent, eventually cut and re-welded.  That's why I got them bare, not coated and test fit before ceramic coating.   I also replaced the mufflers with Classic Chambered 3" ID 24" long.  Less restriction, better sound, and they will never rattle.

Hopefully they will and I won't have to go thru what you have. I read about your issues with the frame and where you changed out to the cobrapacks on your sidepipes.
