That is so awesome! Glad to see the positive progress!!! We'll talk soon :)

mandmGuys

Does the nose emblem make it official? even if it is only test fitting.

Mark

Dusty

I would call it finished if the emblems on it ;)

mandmGuys

Sorry, I have not been keeping up with this very well:
Lights all test fit. Roll bar holes modified. Windshield test fit - modified escutcheons. Truing up louver holes.

Mark,
That is really starting to look like something! If that dang Hurricane guy would get you some other parts you could really be finishing up alot ;D
Looks great!!!

"shipping this week" - something smoking in the pipe(s). I said the exact same thing as you yesterday.

Since you have  spinners on the wheels and the emblems on the hood, its good to go in my book.  Now you are ahead of me for sure.....looks great.  Have to hustle to get a drive in before fall.

Don't thinks so Ken, you have had yours runs! I took the wheels off to keep them clean while sanding on things, car looks pretty sad with the skinny salvage tire/wheels on. Have the dash to check and side pipe to finish then the body comes off one more time for rest of chassis work then go-cart. We have about decided on a color, having my test car painted now to see if we like it.

Guess in the long run time will tell, been thinking about trying the body on, it was shipped apart so have no idea other than pixs from hurricane prior to shipping.  Need to find time and assemble a crew, my 8 yr old and 13 year old aren't quite up to the task.  Keep going, you're making great progress.  Keep the pixs coming.

Here's what I'm thinking for paint color on #2006
Let me know what you think.

In order outside in the shade, then sun, and finally inside.

Thanks Bobby, might have to try some red Team stripes over the front fender.

Mark

s_reynolds

Like the red team stripes idea. What color are you planning for the center stripes, if any?

Sam

mandmGuys

Thinking no center stripes  :o  Would use vinyl so I can change my mind later.
