Paul, hopefully my car will be finished by the LCS, but I don't have a trailer and I'm reasonably sure I couldn't talk my wife into driving from NC to Ohio in an open loud Cobra, even if George Clooney were driving...well maybe she would if George Clooney were driving, but he's not so it won't happen. As for the add on's I'm pretty much up for anything. The fri. night group dinner sounds good. It is always fun to meet and socialize with the fellow HM owners. We had a great time with George Daulton and his wife Becky the last time we were at the LCS. Sat. night is usually pretty busy with the dinner under the tent and the following program and raffle car drawing, but what ever happens after that has to be good. Also, don't forget happy hour so we can sit around the cars and enjoy a favorite drink. I plan to bring something to sip on and share...it has to be 5 o'clock somewhere!!

Hi Everyone,

My wife suggested we go to the show this year and she even made hotel reservations at the Embassy Suites Columbus Airport - a few miles from where others are staying - but we wanted a two room suite for the kids. I'm going to try to borrow an enclosed trailer and make sure the date doesn't conflict with anything else. If all goes well it will be nice to meet those who can make it!

Nick, you might want to look for a hotel on the west side of Columbus. To get to the airport you need to take I670 through town and it is a BIG MESS! There is construction going on and traffic really backs up. I will help you if I can. You can even look around Polaris mall, Dublin or Hilliard. Let me know if I can help you.

Paul, I think that I will be there all week.    As of this past week, the Fairfield inn still had rooms. this hotel is in a good location.

Now if they would clone the matching pickup tow vehicle and raffle that off they sell heaps. Hope everyone bought at least one ticket. It's for a good cause.  Of course I'm getting the winning number but u can still buy :-)

Ticket sales are down this year, (way down) so if you ever thought about buying a ticket, now is the time. It is for a very good cause. Every place that I have sold tickets this year, I've had at least one person come up to me and say "thanks" because they or a family member has cystic fibrosis. Nasty disease! One young man described it as "having an asthma attack 24/7"!
Good news is that so far registrations for the show are up!
