Finally the dash. The high beam was wired up later that day. All works but my fan gave out. Time to trouble shoot. Enjoy the pics guys. I hope to have her finished for Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Mid February
Keep on building.

BDF,

Beautiful Job So Far!  Keep it up!

A question: No heat shield on the firewall? The Fibergalss on your Cockpit Tub looks great. Did you have to touch it up?

Mine was a mess.

Yeah Spuddy. lots of bodywork and putty to get the tub smooth(See earlier pics) The underneath is also base coat /clear coat in black. It was worth it, besides I'm and old bodyman from way back. It looks good against the gunmetal chassis.I'm hoping to ride this Saturday and make an 1/8th mile pass by the house to check performance. A buddy of mine has a program on his I Phone called Dynalicious. It calculates 1/4, 1/8th mile, 330',100',and 60' times. It's pretty accurate as he has taken it to the track and it's on the money.
P.S. I'm putting Dynamat on the inside for insulation. I didn't want to cover up the tub. I like the clean look.
Trying to keep it between the lines.

LOOKS GREAT!

I was close to doing a BowTie big block cobra as I've alwasy been a GM guy but I talked myself out of it. I'm sure would have been less expensive!

Keep the pics coming as its good to see action on the site.

Finally we have a go kart video. It's hard to keep my 11 year old's attention but I think we pulled it off. It's a little shaky at first but the second pass came out pretty good. Now I need to tweek the rear end alignment to get it to pull straight. Next step Bodywork and fit.
Enjoy!

I decided like most to put the battery up over the axle. more space in the trunk for Cobra stuff.
