Mike,

Wow You make quick progress.  It's coming along very nicely!!

I'm also glad to see you posting.  I was going to e-mail you today and see if everything was alright from the storms we had on Thurs. Several Tornado's down your way. Glad to see everything is ok!

BTW we need to get you a 1965 GA tag :-)

Cheers,
Ryan Cassidy

Hey Micahel,
Your engine sounds great!!!! Nice rumble to it.

Everything looks great, you've done an excellent job. I'll bet you can't wait to get the paint on her. Post some pics when you do.

I got a burst of energy to get me across the finish line when I got my tag in my hand!  LOL

I hate to give it up for a month now....driving it has been so fun.  I plan to document the bodywork and paint process.  The bodyshop guy is real cool.  Looking at the 2007 Mazda Sunbburst Silver as the base color.

Ryan....you would not believe the damage here.  I got caught in the tornado in my truck.  The body shop will have my cobra and my truck this week.  Lots of damage.  Blew out all the glass, pitted my wheels and dented the driver side of my truck from one end to the other.  Had shingles in my back seat!!!!  But I am alive so no complaints.  Below are a couple om pics of my truck.

Wow Michael, glad you're OK. Mother Nature sure can be a biatch sometimes.

I think you need to nickname your truck "tornado" Then you can have a Hurricane and Tornado...... ;D ;D ;D

I come from KS, the land of tornados ("We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto"), so I know how quicky they can hit and the damage they can do.

I'm so glad you escaped injury.  The truck can be replaced or repaired, but you sure want to be in good shape to enjoy that roadster once it comes back from the paint shop!

They say lightning doesn't strike the same place twice.  Here's hoping that's true about tornados, too--if so, you can relax now.
