Michael,

Car looks great.  You've done an outstanding job putting it together.  That engine looks like it's going to be scary fun to drive.

Must've been really fun to take to a show after getting it "legal".

Got any video of it running?

Thanks Dan.

I must admit...it is the fastest thing I have ever driven.  Scary fun is definitely the right term!

It was a lot of fun going to the show unfinished.  Just the sound of it idling was enough to get attention.  It hits pretty hard.  I have a couple of videos of it running.  Didn't know where to post it though.

You can post it to something like You Tube and just post the link on this thread. I believe You Tube is free to join and upload videos.

Can't wait to here it..... 8-)

Mike,

Looks great!  I'm sure it was a blast to drive at the show.  I'm assuming the registration process went smoothly :-).  Feel free to send me the video  cassidyr@charter.net and I'll upload it/host it NP.

Any idea on when the painters will have it finished?

Cheers,
Ryan Cassidy

Nice job Michael!!!!

She looks great. Sounds like you've been having a little fun with it already. It must be a blast to drive. I'll bet you can't wait to get the paint on it. Post some pics when you do.

Again, you've done a fantastic job and it looks great.

Thanks for all the kind words everybody.  It was a blast this past weekend to drive.  Mike Arps called me crazy when I told him I took it to 90mph Sunday on the highway!   :o  Smooooth as glass!  Of course in hindsight...I DID build this car myself......and I never claimed to be the sharpest pencil in the stack!  ;D
Had to have a little fun before I put it in the paint shop next week!

Ryan,
thanks for the advice.  Registration was a breeze.  When I told a FFR owner at the show his jaw dropped.  He went the other route with inspections, taxes, etc.  I just grinned.
I'll send you my little video clip of it idling.

Thanks so much Ryan for hosting it.

I just talked to the paint shop and it goes in Monday!!!!  He said 4 weeks.

Ofcourse I don't have a color nailed down yet.  I want to go with a Superformance color silver with ghost stripes a few shades darker or black with charcoal stripes.  Being in the south I am worried about the black making it hotter than will already be in the summer.  But it would look slick!
