1043 is finished!  The only things left to do are the door panels and install numbers.  It's a lot of fun to drive now except for the love bugs.  Here are a few shots.

Very nice job.  Bigger pics. would be great. Are the sidepipe shields ceramic or chrome plated? I'm considering some to prevent the dreaded "snake bite".

Berz,
Thr carpet is the Hurricane upgrade.  It's cut pile, bound but without instructions.  I chose to run the aluminum under the sills all the way to the dash upright and then cover, glue and screw for durability.  Sills are from Cobra Restorers.  The FL registration is the easiest I have heard about.  The only problem was the attitude of the staff in the first office.  I left, went to another office and WOW what a difference.  No inspection(you sign an affidavit that the car is street worthy), pay the tax(use MSO and bill of sale not every individual part), request your tag (registered as 1965 Hurricane) eligible for antique plates if you have a blue car to match.

Jim, The shields are from finishline and are polished stainless and don't clash with the silver ceramic.  I just couldn't live with passengers getting the bite.

If anyone wants close-ups or how-tos just let me know; I've got hundreds of pics.

Chris

Chris, it looks really outstanding!
You should post a couple photo's of the engine too.
What red did you use?

I must apologize for the photo.  My camera doesn't do the color justice.  The color is PPG Ford E8, a medium red with no orange or tomato.  Here is the engine bay:
