Thanks Fuzzy, I saw the color on a 2007 Mustang it's called Valencia. I didn't want to go with the traditional colors, I guess

BAD TO THE BONE!   8-)

Ron you did  great job on your car and I just love the yellow and black combo.   Yellow is a tuff color to get the right shade...and you did it perfect.  Can't wait to see some pics after it's all complete, have fun finishing it off.  ;)

Best Regards, Bill   ;D
The trouble with people is not that they don't know , but that they know so much that ain't so.

Thanks Bill,
I'm just finishing up the wiring and on the 24th of July my VIN Inspection. Once I get that out of the way I still have alot of interior work to do.

Ron, if it's a gasket leak on your tank...make a good paper or cork gasket and use "Seal-All gas/oil" Auto Zone.  It has so far out performed everything I've tried.   ;)

Thanks Bill for the info on the seal-all I will try it.  I just wanted to pass VIN inspection before I take the fuel tank out and repair it. I just had my VIN inspection today and passed with flying colors. The state trooper did say that it was alittle loud and he might not pass it but I waited him out and towards the end he said he'd go ahead and pass it.  I just think he wanted to see me sweat some.  I told him alot of Hurricanes are on the road across the country and I've never heard of one that didn't pass because it was too loud.  Heck Harley's are loud. He couldn't argue.  Now its just wait for the paper work to go thru the system and then they will contact me when its time to attach the VIN number on the car.  Then reg. and license and plates and on the road I go. Now I can really sleep tonight.

Regards,
Ron

Recent progress photo, I had the inside of my wheels painted black to match my black paint on the car, Front p2456015, Rear p2955015

Fuzzy

Ron, it sure does look nice.  I've got the same tires and had wondered which way to mount them, like this look.  I bought the Hurricane wheels and now am not so sure about using them with the plastic inserts, may buy the little plastic imitation bolts that were original on the wheels and run them bare like that.  Post some finished shots when you get the cockpit and trunk done.

Guys,
I finally got my VIN number installed on my car by the State Patrol this morning, so I promptly went to the DMV and got my reg. and lic. plates and my son and I spent the rest of the afternoon driving it up and down the hiway in front of my business. Needless to say there were two guys with great big grins on their faces all afternoon. It's fast and handles real good. When I got out of the car my adreline was flowing and I was shaking alittle. Hay Jim, you were right, one of those moments you'll never forget.

Regards,
Ron
