That really turned out nice. Exciting stuff for sure. Bet you can't wait till this Friday.

Some progress pictures. Carpet installation is next.

Always good to get it back and start working on it again. Looking good 👍

While the car was at the painter, I started gathering the parts required to assemble and install pusher fans on the car. The car doesn't need additional engine cooling; I just wanted the authentic look of the fans. I bought the fan motors from RockAuto.com and the fan blades from Grainger. I fabricated the mounting bracket based on copies of original brackets. I have the fans wired to a switch on the dash. Pleased with the results. Getting closer to starting carpet installation.

Looks great Jeff. Can't wait to follow along with your carpet. I'm close to starting it as well.

Still working on carpet. Quite involved it turns out. Was able to get the car out of the garage today for a couple pictures.

Looking good Jeff. Quite involved is an understatement haha. I'm in the thick of it too, I think body work was easier.

Finally finished the cockpit carpet installation. Still have the trunk to do. A lot of work. Overall, pleased with the results. I have my car entered in our local car show Saturday. I'll post some pictures.

Turned out really nice it looks like.
Did you add binding to some of the edges? I ended up doing that on some pieces. Yours might be different since you have an earlier Gen kit.

Redstang69

A little heads up, I just started messing with my trunk pieces tonight. Not sure how different your Gen kit is than mine but they precut some slots for the fuel filler pipe and roll bar so I had to pull that stuff back apart. After doing so and trying to get the pan piece to fit right I ended up cutting the openings loose at one end so in the end there was actually no need to remove the roll bar and fuel filler. Battery will probably have to come out unless I cut around it.
