Hello everyone. Longtime member here. But brand new to the Hurricane family. I've waited a long time to do this build. And then as my dream is about to happen......Covid. I had planned on flying to Iowa to visit and place my order in person. But it didn't work out. Alec and I emailed back and forth and we came up with a great plan. He's has been so helpful. I hope HM-2027 will be here sometime in September. I'm building a Street model. These have really grown on me since seeing Jason's red street model years ago. Have never seen a Hurricane in person.  So I hope it's a good one!! I only have a few random pictures to show for now. Frame pictures Greg K was nice enough to post up. And few of the bare 427 S/O block. Before the lock down happened I drove to Virginia to get the 427 and few other parts from a buddy of mine. Cobra Automotive here in CT is doing the short block. If you like Cobra's and Shelby's it's the place to visit!! However my wallet is quite a bit lighter every time I leave there. Stewart Transport will bring the kit once it's ready. I look forward to this and sharing progress as I can. Thanks for watching. Glenn.

Still waiting on a del date. So working on some shiney bits. Nice polished C3 timing cover. I used to polish aluminum years ago. I grow weary of it now. Short block will be ready soon. So trying to get a few things done. Still need to make a body buck and frame cart.

Got 2 pictures of the headers being made. Undercar exhaust makes it a bit difficult. The originals used oem iron manifolds on the street models. The left side #7 into #5 is interesting. We'll see how it all works out.

Definitely interesting and challenging. I'm sure they'll work out just fine.

I agree Greg they will be just fine. Light years better than original. It's hard to see everything and all the angles from a few pictures. But nice job on fitment. Things are off to powder coat next week I believe. Then they'll pack it up and ship it east. Have to make room in the garage. I'm amazed how much lawn crap I have in there already.

Still waiting on a delivery update. Hope in the next month or so. I have been doing a bit of poking around on the headers. I am VERY pleased with the results Alec came up with. There is a complete exhaust Acton sells. And the headers look very much like these for mine. Tried to save the pic but wasn't allowed so a link to his site for a picture. I also attached what the original cast iron log manifolds looked like. Good for 100HP LOSS according to some. Tip of the hat to the Hurricane crew for a awesome job!!
