Back in the first of June, I did a visit at Hurricane Motorsports. I had a blast! They gave me great tour and answered all my questions that I could remember to ask!

I rode in the shop car with Alec. Then had lunch. They have a Hurricane customer for sure! I can't after my engine us finished! I think I'll bring my wife there for a visit if I decide to deliver the block and heads for mock-up.

You won't be disappointed with Hurricane.  Great bunch of guys.  They support their product 100% and you will find plenty of Hurricane owners that are willing to help with any questions or issues with the build of your car.

I went out several years ago and had an awesome time.  Everyone was very accommodating from the beginning all the way through the build (well at least as far as I've made it).  You can't go wrong with a Hurricane build.

All aluminum Buick 455 stroked to a 540 with dry sump system and trying to workout the details for an EFI 8 stack.

The engine weight ( 455 is only 25 heavier than the SBC) varies from 436-485 lbs.

Here are the fresh block and billet crank

That'a a beast of a motor for Cobra!!
When are you pulling the trigger on the Cobra to put that beast in?
HM 1053; 427w, TKO 600 (.82) IRS Cobra hybrid . . . burns both rubber and gas

Once the engine is near completion. I am sending a cast iron block (140 lbs) and heads to get the stepped headers made. I was given instructions for the diameter and length.

This engine isn't a beast. Remember that 1100 hp twin turbo engine in a hurricane? 😎
