I went with a 3/8" steel fuel line on this car. we will still provide the 1/2'' aluminum if anyone wants it but I like this. also the union would be a great place for an in-line filter. one 40'' and one 51'' pre flared line. We may be able to provide this as one piece.

Interesting!  Still not too late for me to retrofit my frame ... whats reason for the change?

Looking good, one question; how much room between the rear shock/spring and the brake caliper? On mine I switched backing plates side to side making the caliper on the leading side of the rotor, that also made for a much smoother routing for the e-brake cable. (note: only relevant on live axle cars).
Believe Bobby switched his around also after seeing mine.

BTW - sent you a seal sample that fits 0.040 panel. Let me know if you want more info.

Those new seat mounts should eliminate the rail adapters that I had to make for mine.

Looking good Jason.  Glad to see a build thread on the new changes.

Bobby,  The frame was never updated to accommodate the Sube Sport seats now supplied. they have a slightly different "foot print".

Mark, It's pretty close but I don't fear it making contact at all. I'll look at front mounting.

The ball joints. I've had some discussions with a few of you about spindles that seem to be reamed too deep. turns out that apparently it's more an issue of the stud in the ball joint being machined a little less than perfect. the first set I tried on this chassis went pretty deep so I tried a different set of spindles and had the same issue. then I purchases new ball joints and they fit very well with the standard washer kit. always use American made ball joints from a name brand like Moog or similar.

I did switch my backing plates around after taking Mark's advice.  Here are some pics of mine, note the calipers are on the front side, and the e-brake cables come into the back side, flowing nicely with minimal bends.

Well, this chassis is sold so I will be starting another soon.

Thats great!   Another future hurricane owner is always a good thing.

Hey Jason I need to get with you about getting the new frame pieces for the Sube Sport seats, i'm getting close to needing to weld them in.

Jason, where did it (the chassis your were doing) go to? How about a News from the Factory update. Is Hurricane going to TCC?
