It's been a number of years since we last got together.

Anyone interested in a Hurricane re-union at London this spring?

Maybe we could get Steve to spring for a beer? Maybe he could pull some strings to get everyone in one area or near the Hurricane booth?

Just throwing some thoughts out. Never too early to start planning

I missed last year, but plan to attend this year.

might be able to be there myself.  Looking forward to stretching the legs of the KCR 482 down main street again and giving the fans a ride that will thrill them.....

Dan,
Would be good to see you again.  Some one said that it would be fun to see which kit manufacturer could get the largest number of their kits there by percentage of kits sold. Hurricane could do that!!!!

Paul,
I am planning on being there. This will be my first time since completing the car.

Mike, have you been to London Cobra Show before? I have gone several years now and this will be my first time with a car. London has got to be the only place that you can make a high speed pass down Main St. and wave at a cop!

This will be my first time at the london car show. Its about 290 miles one way.   ::)

I have reservations at the Hampton Inn on Trabue. That is traditionally where Hurricane stays. Don't know if Mike/Steve/Dusty have made reservations yet or not.

As of 12/30/2011, they had rooms. Better to make reservations now and cancel if something comes up since they become very hard to come by in late spring

For those that have never been there. There are several hotels there, but the Hampton and the Holiday Inn are the better ones. The hotels are located on the west side of Columbus, OH near the intersection of IR 70 and IR 270. Paul is correct about making reservations early.

Spoke to Steve today - he raised the question of who's planning on the London get-together.

You guys have any suggestions on an event add-on for this? Maybe Friday evening dinner? Sunday morning breakfast? Saturday evening Dessertfest? or e:All of the above.

Any others in for a party?

Attendees so far:
  • George Daulton
  • Sam Reynolds
  • Dan Cook ???
  • Mike Watts
  • Paul Proefrock
  • Hurricane factory crew
How many cars? Any others?

Wow, the 50th must have everyone excited.  I called to book rooms today and the Hampton is sold out.  The Holiday Inn is sold out also, so I booked rooms at the new Fairfield Inn which is in between those two hotels in close proximity.  They are not open yet, but will be by the LCS.

This is a new hotel right behind the Hampton Inn so any Hurricane owners staying at either of these hotels will be close enough for gatherings and festivities.

See you there!
