How Many Hurricanes With FEs?

Does anyone know how many Hurricanes are out there with FEs in them and for those of you that went that route how do they fit?

I had one in HMS1002 and one is going into HMS2002. The BB footbox is different. They fit very naturally but if you went with a small block foot box you will struggle to switch to a BB.

About 40% so far went with FE's.  Couple 385 series, one Mod motor, one Chebbie( Fuzzy's the odd guy  ) balance are 351W.

Like the original car, fit is tight - wall to wall motor. Plenty of room fore and aft, but tight to the foot boxes. If you go period correct and route the radiator hoses and oil filters, it gets even tighter.

My own personal build album (http://65shlb.com/home/project/build/ has pictures of the engine and bay without the body on. The black frame bars are pretty much in line with the hood opening, if you need a reference

Tip for FE owners: If the engine is hot and you need to change #7 and #8 plugs, call someone you never want to see again to come help  Until the engine cools, you are guaranteed burnt hands

heres a pic of the mod motor in 1075. The 4v is 2" wider than a FE I had about 1" to the foot well sides and the fender liners. The resevoirs had to be relocated to the fire wall
