All,

Maybe Jay does need to get his pipes cleaned out. I know I could stand a good cleaning after the reaming I got from doing business with Hurricane Texas, ala Ray, Chris and Carl.

I hope the following yarn out of Texas will assist in cooling everyone's jets... This is a story about a fictitious man named Jed and some ficticious businessmen by the sir name Black. This is going to require some work on your part to clearly see the story through to the end.

1. Jed was not ousted from Texas Tornado LLC, but quit his association with the Blacks. This followed the Black's use of Jed's name and reputation in their press release to bolster their position in the competitive golden fleece market. Incidentally, the press release is still up on the Texas Tornado LLC website. The Black's simply wanted him as a figurehead.

2. The Blacks's had no prior involvement with golden fleece and likely TT1003 was the first golden fleece any of them had ever operated.

3. When Tornado was purchased, the Black's were in K-ville investigating another investment deal. When that deal fell through, the investment broker showed them Tornado on a lark.

4. Tornado was acquired as an asset purchase. Up-front purchase price was discounted with the Black's promising royalties on the first double-digit golden fleeces sold.

5. Royalties on the first double-digit golden fleeces were earmarked by the previous owners for customer-service liabilities that the Black's refused to tender.

6. To date, Texas Tornado LLC has not sold any golden fleeces; therefore, there are no earmarks for liabilities.

7. Jed is out tens of thousands of dollars, yes plural tens, for his effort to ensure that three golden fleeces were as wooly as they should be, but Jed doesn't blow his own horn.

8. Texas Tornado LLC still does not have a jig to appropriately sew the pockets for SBF golden fleeces. So buy a BBF golden fleece (if you dare).

9. Folks, this ain't about barely keeping your family fed or the downturn, but rather about the loss of down home values. I have pressed the flesh with the Black's, had the principles of Texas Tornado LLC at my house, and been to the golden fleece factory twice. I started working with them regarding SBF pockets in July '08 and gave up in December '08.

10. Texas Tornado LLC's parent company has its fingers in more than one business dealing where folks are PO'd and reviewing their positions with counsel.

Fuzzy

It seems that if the Tornado ever came up for sale, it would be to one's benefit to purchase only the assests and not the name or liablities and just start over with a new brand called  Monsoon, with which one could enter the Golden Fleece market as a newbie but with a proven product, however, word travels fast in the Golden Fleece arena and the product would be known prior to offer.  Thus whoever buys Tornado would need to be someone in the market as an owner and well respected business person.  I'm still thinking I would be in as a silent partner if the right Tornado chaser decided to do it.  There are still folks in the market looking and other than the jigs and molds, everything else is available in the market (if the suppliers stay around).

Dugly, I know this is a bit of a mish mash but that's about as clear as it should get here.  As for the new site, maybe contact PaulP here on this site and ask him what's up for non-owners.  I'm just a user....

My apologies for missing the sarcasm probably mispelled but hell I'm from west Texas.

To answer one thing said, I was not screwed my anyone at Hurricane, either Lee's Summit or Texas.  If any of you remember, I resigned from Hurricane as not to be associated with the White's and their business practices and their lies.  I took the position with Hurricane Texas llc with no pay or any contractual monetary figures.  The money that I was out was strictly my choice to resign but to honor my word to people and customers of HM Lees Summit since I had been the initial negotiator of the agreement to purchase and had given MY WORD to certain people with the knowledge of the Whites.

If anyone would like to know the REAL story then I would reccomend that requests be made to PaulP with the new site,  If he should feel that it be told (he knows most of it) then he  can ask me to do so.  Not on this site.

AS to the other smart ass remarks and the need for blood and guts stories that you seek, remember one thing...I don't need to get over anything or move on.  I could have bought Hurricane without anyones help.  And as far as moving on... maybe  you should because you do not know of what you speak either with/about me or what is happening here.

I don't have a humming bird ass that is over powered by my alligator mouth.

ps.  If anyone feels that these cars will become collector cars then they should study history of Arntz, Arntz/Butler, Componentcraft, Kellison Stallion, Pacific, NAF, etc.  Be proud that you have these cars and that YOU and YOU only make them what they are and will be. Remember that for the next week, I still have one and have owned more that all but one purchaser.

Greed is the Ultimate sin.
that is what? if you knew how to read between lines,
what i typed some time ago.
Look, you either know how, learn how or get back at the end of the line.
Seems Texas is big on every thing, here where i'am at it had been done already yesterday ;D

Hey, when I said these cars might become collector cars, I"m thinkin like this!   ;D

1) You might want more than one.
2) You might collect awards.
3) You might collect positive comments.
4) You might be able to get more money for it if somebody else is collecting Hurricanes.
5) You might get a big pain in the Ass from workin on it all the time.
6) THE TAX COLLECTOR MIGHT WANT IT!   :-/

Come on...let's lighten up here and not be so glum about what has happened.
Best Regards, Old Bill  :)

Thanks Bill,

Never thought I would collect anything other than bills, but I have got a few nice comments on 38.

Research the Dallas Morning News or FT worth star Telegram and search for Ray White or crw investments.  The chit has hit the fan.

Jay

HAVASUBILL

Thanks Jay, for the tip and direction regarding what is happening with the White's and CRW investments.

It sounds like you were very smart to sever ties with those folks in Texas.  It appears they now have major problems to deal with, and any future for  Hurricane Motorsports is questionable at the best.

I really appreciate all your help and contributions to a product we all love, hopefully something good will come from all this mess.

Bill    ;)

Sounds like time for some of our folks to give the judge a call re. things they might be owed by Hurricane.  Time to get listed as being owed parts you sent in , things Chris promised you, hopefully you have a paper trail or an email trail....get your claim in quick.... :o
