Sounds like you have a Hurricane before it was a Hurricane.  Does that make it a Tropical Storm Replica?

Hurricane Motorsports was sold and moved to Texas about six months ago. The new owners indicate that they are gearing up for production. In the meantime, many of the parts for our cars can be obtained from:

As far as getting your certificate of origin notarized, sorry I can't help you there.
If you do ever speak to Chris White, you might ask him to register you and give you acess to the private owner's side of this forum. You'll find it contains a wealth of knowledge and information on building and customizing our cars.

Hurricane and Component Craft were never connected.  Your manufacturer went out of business and then sold the molds and jigs to some people in Red Oak, Texas.  They in turn sold the molds to Hurricane who then stopped production and sold the Hurricane llp in Texas.  

Very few things of your cc car are the same as yesterday's car.  Mainly only body mold parts, even the roll bat holes and mounts are now different.  The foot box has been totally changed.  

You might get better help here if you listed the parts that you need.  As for the MSO/title...good luck.

hey,  Jay how about north amercian fiberglass,when I was at Knott's two guys where all over my car ,when i walked up they said it looks just like NAF.Isaid thought they were defunked and the little old man with the cobra jacket on said no thats me,his name was Jack, he build's coupes in AZ.

I really don't know that much about NAF, some of the guys at clubcobra might.  I had an opportunity to by a distressed NAF once but declined due to quality and other reasons...frame, foot box, buildability, lack of support, etc.  As far as coupes go I had heard that one or more of the principles was still active in some respects.

It never ceases to amaze me how failures in this business still try to hang on.  It is always an ongoing saga...kinda like this one.

i have been staying out of this for some time, something happened and i wish it had not. the HM is still been a Great and Fun Build and HM owners(the ones that bought these cars as kits are always here. what is next is only any ones guess? these are truly awesome cars.
my son and i have $50,000+ grand into this and that does not include our time. and the way things are going does it truly really fargin matter.
we will finish if God willing but Bad Agnes will always be in my mind.

Mike Arps once told me, but I've forgotten the actual chassis number. He said he couldn't verify it, but he once placed an original hood on a HM and it was a perfect fit.

Mike, Rich or Jay . . .  can you fill in the blanks?  Would be interesting to have the full story. . . the Hurricane Motorsports legacy
