Hey guys, I ran into a guy (not literally) driving a Backdraft Cobra the other day.  His windshield was cracked in half down the middle.   He mentioned it happened while doing some spirited driving in the twisties, car flexed too much.
Anyone had this happen in a Hurricane?  The Hurricane looks like it has a stronger frame, hope this isn't a generic issue.
thanks again,
Mark

Mark, I never heard of that and can tell you no one has ever posted anything about that in the owners forum. Someone did post that he cracked his windshield by using too long a screw to mount the wind wings, but that's all I've heard of in way of a cracked windshield. The windshield frame on a Hurricane is mounted to a very stout 2x2 cross member that runs from frame rail to frame rail, so I can't imagine there being any flex.

I cracked mine but it was from the sun viser screw going in too far. It made a 1 inch crack to start. After my first ride The crack traveled down to the bottom of the glass. Ron sent me new glass but now I have to figure out how to change it.

Thanks for the input guys,, that's what I was hoping.  Those frames look pretty stout.
