Doors, Trunks and Hoods

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and doing my cobra research.  Pretty much narrowed it down to HM.  Just have few quesitons about all the hanging components.  How much reinforcement is in the trunk and hood for the hinges, especially the doors.   Is there just plate still or is there safety bars incorporated into the design.

Also, is there anyone near Fort Sill, Ok.  I would love to take a look at one up close.

JASON,  THE HOOD,TRUNK AND DOORS ARE REINFORCED WITH STEEL PLATING BETWEEN THE SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION.  MY COMPONANTS ARE VERY STRONG AMD THE HINGES DO THEIR JOB VERY WELL.  BOTH THE HOOD AND THE TRUNK HAVE SUPPORTS THAT HOLD THEM UP WHEN THEY'RE IN THE OPEN POSTION.  THE DOORS ARE LIGHT BUT STRONG..ALTHOUGH THEIR NOT LIKE BMW,  THAT ADVERTISES THAT A 200 POUND MAN CAN HANG ON THEM.

I GIVE ALL PASSENGERS THE SAME BASIC INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO RIDING IN MY HURRICANE...1.)  DON'T LEAN ON THE WINDSHIELD  2.) DON'T LEAN OF HANG ON THE DOORS 3.) DON'T BURN YOUR LEGS ON THE HOT EXHAUST PIPES AND 4.)  DON'T COMPLAIN WHEN WE'RE GOING SIDEWAYS.   :-/

Maybe we should have plaques made for our cars that have your rules on them. I really like #4 but my you should change "complain" to "scream".

YA KNOW,  YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE...SO WHY TRY !   8-)

MY WIFE SCREAMS "DON'T DO THAT'  WHEN I GET ON IT A LITTLE BIT, AND "STOP IT" WHEN I LAUGH AND DO IT AGAIN, SO I JUST SAY "SORRY" AND THEN SMOKE THE TIRES.  SHE COMPLAINS BUT STILL WANTS TO RIDE IN THIS THING EVERY CHANCE SHE GETS.  

THE ICE CHEST IS A GREAT IDEA...IT WOULD MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY.
