Hello every one,
 I was origanially planning on buying a FFR kit but I've been checking out the Hurrican kits on this web site and they look interesting. I'm thinking about taking a trip to the hurrican plant in an effort to see the quality of this kit.  Is there any one in the TN. area (or close to it) with a Hurrican 427 car that I could check out and maybe save some traveling time?

You don't say where in Tennessee you're located. I am just west of Saint Louis. Depending on the route, you may have to go right by my place to get to the Hurricane offices. You're welcome to come look at mine.

I did similar research when I made my decision and found Hurricane the most cost effective, the most complete and also the most "replica accurate" of all the other kits out there. (Can you tell I highly recommend them)

Plus, dealing with the guys at the factory and the user's group, you'll be very pleased should you elect to go with this kit.

I live in Mid-TN, about 70mi. SE of Nashville.

Check out Ryan Cassidy's web site. He has done a real nice job documenting his Hurricane build (his site helped me decide to go with Hurricane when I finally do get around to, "writing the check".

His HM Registry shows  that HM1076 is located in Raleigh, NC. That might be closer than MO

Ryan's map also has a dot  I think may be HM1025 in Concord, NC which is even closer to you.

What's up with the fiberglass work that Ryan Cassidy had to do, is this something that needs to be done to all Hurricans?

Hey fourbar83,
The fiberglass work that Ryan did, such as moving the side vents, etc, was something that some of us with the earlier cars did to make them a bit more like the originals. Its not something that had to be done and there are a lot of owners that didn't make any changes to thier cars. Hurricane listened to what the owners wanted and has since incorporated these changes into thier molds.

Agreed.  The fiberglass work I did are all items (except the hood opening I believe) that Hurricane has incorporated into their car.  Nothing was wrong to begin with, the Body was great, I just wanted a few items to be more period correct.  Hurricane has since taken feedback from several of its customers and incorporated these changes into the new cars/body.
