I was just wondering if a forum member could post pic's of his engine and trans that will eventually go in a Hurricane.  I don't own a Hurricane yet, but I will sometime soon.

There are LOTS of them in the build pictures section.  Are you looking for a specific combination?  Photo angle??  ??????????

EDIT:  Wait a minute.  Are you looking for someone to host pic's of YOUR engine???  I'm not getting the question.  But I'm not very smart either so maybe someone else will jump in with what you need.

Matt,
I don't know how to post pic's on this forum.  Help if you can on how to do this.

Ron, when you click "reply", there should be a box just below the text box with a button next to it marked "Browse". Just click that and locate the pic you want to attach, click "OK", "Post" and you should be done. Note that you may have to shrink the pic as the file size limit is 500kb. It's also possible that only owners have this functionality, but don't know.

I think that feature is only reserved for owners only.

You might have an exhaust leak between the header and the head there! ;)

Should be able to, I did before I got to be a paid up member... 8-)  but unless you want to see a tired old GM Holden in liner, I will pass on posting my current motor...it can be done.    In the little bar above the reply box is a small  photo, right above the underlined U   .  This will permit an attachement, keep it small though as mentioned.   It needs to be in focus too, hard to see anything blurry, particularly for us "older" guys.  Enough of life is blurry already.  ;D

Now all I need to do is order my Hurricane which I will probably do this summer.  That way I can work on it all winter here in Colorado.  That's when my down time is here at work.  I wished I could have attended the open house at Hurricane last Sat. but found out to late to attend.  But plan on visiting the factory sometime this summer.

Nice combination Ron. Everything looks great.  ;D ;D ;D  What kind of cam, heads, etc are you running?
I like your dolly setup for movng it around. Your slave setup looks good too. I've seen that setup before but can't remember where.  When you get your Hurricane you'll be way ahead of the game having your engine and trans etc. ready to go. Keep us posted on your progress.

Maybe while you are waiting you should put together a lawnmower or barstool racer so you can get this beauty run in.  Lot easier to sort it out like that than after its in the car....too bad you don't have an engine test stand, you could post some audio for us...wouldn't that be cool to have sound like that every time your computer opened up.. vroom, vroom...
looks great..
