Congrats on 1077 Erik and welcome to the family!

I know Mike Forte can sell you the whole set up. Best to compare prices at a couple places though, just make sure your getting the best deal.
Here's Fortes link if you want to check it out: http://www.fortesparts.com/
See you in the owners section.

Congratulations Erik, and welcome to the club.
FYI, I went with Mike Forte for my scattershield, clutch, TO arm and bearing and TKO 600 and am very pleased. If you go with the complete package from him, you can sweet talk him into drilling out the TKO mounting holes to match up with the scattershield. This otherwise can be a real pain! The other thing I liked about Forte's setup is that he's got a scattershield for a SBF that includes the clutch slave already mounted on the scattershield. When you get your kit and comb over the "non-public area" here, you'll see long posts about how you need to fab a mounting bracket for the clutch slave supplied with the kit. Forte's setup eliminates this. Also FYI, I bought a 427w built by Smeding performance (Sacremento, CA). Dyno'd and run-in already.
Again, welcome.

Erik:

Congratulations!

Always nice if you can find a reputable local engine builder to deal with. Makes for good networking and ongoing support. What part of the country are you in?

Welcome to the family.  My 1073 should be here in about 5 weeks and I can't believe how hard this waiting thing is. >:(

Guess I'll have to go buy more tools or something....... ;)

Welcome Erik, on your purchase of #1077   The waiting is very "painful".  I have #1072 on order and think the later part of December maybe the delivery time but don't know yet.  Now that you will be able to view the "Owners section" you can learn a bunch from all the guys currently in the process of putting their car together.  In addition, it's a heck of a lot of fun to track all the sections and get involved.

Best of luck on your new project,  Bill ;D
The trouble with people is not that they don't know , but that they know so much that ain't so.

Erik

Thanks Larry

I ordered the TKO 600 complete set up and his price was great.

Erik, did you get his scattershield with clutch slave?

I got the scattershield but not the slave assembly. I am going to use the one that comes in the kit.

I don't know where you live, but Southern Automotive can prepare a package for you better than most.  I am having them build a big block with top loader and scatter shield, etc, etc. for a very good price.  They deal very positively with their customers, unlike other suppliers already mentioned. Mention my name and maybe they will throw in an extra or two.
