Which Motor/drivetrain choice did you make?

I went with Jimi at Standard Transmission for my TKO. They put a shortened input shaft into the transmission for the same price others were selling the transmission for. That saves you having to buy a spacer plate. Did some research on the internet and then used Summit Racing's price match to get my Lakewood scattershield at a great deal.

Compare the different transmission suppliers. They all are about the same price for the transmission. The difference comes in the cost (sometimes items are included, N/C) of the accessories - Output yoke, input shaft, trans. mount, etc.

I end up with a transmission that bolts directly to the bellhousing that bolts directly to the block. No spacers or special hardware required, and saving about $200 in the process.

Mine is a FE 427 build I'm collecting parts for. I'll use a toploader and the 9" rear with the limited slip. Still need to order the kit but that will happen pretty soon. I'm narrowing down my choices on options tho....
