Like many others, I'm currently in the window shopping phase.  I have some experience with restoring cars but I am certainly not an automotive wizard.  A few questions:

1.  Exactly how hard is this thing to build?  Time?
2.  Anyone owners/builders in the central Texas area I could visit with?
3.  Does anyone have experience with getting it registered in TX?  Is it a '65 or an '06 (emissions, etc.)?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I can only address #1.  The "easy to build" aspect was the ONLY disappointment I had with mine.  It was TOO easy!  I am retired and I figured this project would keep me busy for a long time.  As it was, it went together so easily and quickly that I had a running car before I knew it.  I figured about 160 hours into the build, not including bodywork.  And that includes building my own engine.  I think if a guy would buy a crate engine and have a bodyman with the right schedule. you could build your own in less than a month if you really put your mind to it.
