Been studying Cobra (Oh Oh - can't say that word) kits for many years and just noticed this one.

Dan,
All of our body panels have plates on the inside that are threaded.  The latches and hinges are all attached to metal, not just attached to fiberglass.  Our street kit will be just as you are describing.  It will have no roll bar, the street dash layout, smooth hood (no scoop), under car exhaust and can be had with either the IRS or the solid axle rear suspension.  I attached a picture of what we are shooting for.  Hope this helps.

Thanks.  A street version is what I've been waiting for.  Any estimate on price and availability yet?

I agree that's gonna be a sweet looking car. Not many guys offer a street version. Pretty cool. To bad the sunburst knockoffs are not repop'd by someone. They sure are nice.

Geez  Mike....  Thank man...  You know what the Wife is going to say when I bring a street version home from you guys as well? I'm in trouble..... Stop tempting me.....

It should be beautiful.  Can't wait to see the final product.

Mike is the front oil cooler scoop going to be deleted on the street car? Sorry I forgot to ask that before.

Ryan I'll be heading to Ga May 1st to start work. If you don't mind I'd like to look you up and take a look at your build. Soon as the sale on the house here is final I can place my order!

Glen,
The street car will have the oil cooler opening on the body.  Most of the original street cars had the oil cooler opening as well.  You can barely see it in the picture I posted.  Hope this helps.

Mike that's good news! I really like the look of the front with the oil cooler scoop in place. The Kirkham street car does not have it and I think it gives the nose sort of an odd and empty look. I can't wait to see the finished product. The few original street cars I've seen had the scoop like you stated. Thanks for taking the time to answer my Q's.

Don't forget the grille splitter on the street car--I've only seen ERAs with this feature and it adds so much to the original look.
