Looks good. Those motors have some bad a$$ looking heads and valve covers. 8-)

Cool..... It should be a great  setup in these cars. Man, that thing fills up the engine bay. It looks great. Keep the pics coming, I can't wait to see more.

That's really neat looking with that modern engine. I saw somwhere, a Weber carb set up for the 4.6L. Expensive but man was it cool!

I dont have a manifold for the motor yet(the one it came with is too tall) I am leaning more towards a carb set up which will greatlly simplify wiring plus with the coil on plug set up it will be super clean. MSD recentlly modified a ignition set up meant to run a LS2 with coil packs to run this motor

there is a guy in vegas that makes a manifold to run either a carb or a carb style throtle body with a conventional air cleaner on top

someone else just released a 6pack, dual quad or webber set up fot this motor  but if you see in the pics I'm tring to see how much room I have height wise to see what will fit (I really dont want to go with a stock cobra manifold too ffr looking) since I refuse to change the size of the hood scoop

I really dont know motors so I did not realize the masive size untill last week when I helped a friend pull a 350 chevy out of a 66 vette  that motor looked like a toy compaired too this!

the webber set up you saw is really fuel injection and I think its made by really cool parts at a cost of about $6000 totally custom made

Yeah, the mod engine is really big. Bigger than the FE I think.
Is it going to fit with the footboxes in place? Looks like it's going to be close.

I'm using the big block tub but I think I will be able to modify it to give my self a little more room for my feet the motor is narrow untill you get to the heads and the length front to back is shorter than a 289 (aprox 20" verse about 22") it is much taller than anything else out their though

went for my first drive today 6 miles the car ran great.

No real issues  the only casualty was the pasanger seat belt, it got shreaded by the rear wheel

now I just need to fine tune the timing curves and decide on a color

here are some pics
