Here are some pictures of a recently finished Hurricane.  We were running out of light when taking the pictures so they are a little dark.  The paint is Chrysler Patriot Blue with GM Artic White stripes.  The car has the IRS option and has a Southern Automotive Super FE big block backed by a Top Loader 4 speed.

Wow, that looks great Mike!!! The Patriot Blue is really sharp. I really like it a lot. Great job you guys.

Hmmm...... I wonder if I have my body straight enough for Patriot Blue??? I thought I had my colors picked. You shouldn't be posting these cool pics. It has me thinking about colors again.  ;D ;D ;D

Seriously, both cars look fantastic. You guys really do some awesome work.

 8-) Mike,
Mary and I have been looking for a dark blue when we paint ours. This blue you used looks good.
Does it have any metallic in it?

Mike,  My blood pressure up went a notch!

1058 is beautiful, I just love the color with the stripe, it has a high quality look and is a stand-out.

Thanks for the Pic.  Bill ;D
The trouble with people is not that they don't know , but that they know so much that ain't so.

Mike W,
The Patriot Blue actually uses a pearl for the metallic.  It is still a normal 2 stage paint but the base coat has the pearl already mixed into it.  The pictures do not even begin to show how amazing that paint color is up close.  This is my first choice when it comes to dark blue.  The white is noting special.  Just plain old white with no metallic or pearl.  I hope this helps clarify.  When we painted HM1001 the first time, we used the 1964 Guardsman Blue paint code but they used pearl for the metallic instead of the normal really fine metal flake.  It looked incredible compared to the normal metal flake Guardsman Blue.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

Pariot blue was my first choice,... until I changed my mind.  ;D
