December 11, 2007, 10:39:40 AM
Hey Guys,
I built a 347 from a 302 in my car. What I have in mine is pretty much the same as you have listed above Dave except for the AFR Heads and the Victor Jr Intake. I have not had this dino'd yet but let me tell you its has allot uf get up and HOLD ON!!!! I have $4,000 in the engine build and what I ended up with was well worth the money.

Scott,
I hate to be the barrer of bad news but, If your afraid of being bitten once you've diven in one...Then I'm afraid you'r about to have a LARGE CHUNK taken out of you.
I love driving my car. The Ride, the smell, the feel, the Power....EVERYTHING. I especially LOVE when I'm sitting at a red light and I see someone roll down their window and take a picture of my car with their camera phone and tell me "Nice Car". I almost want to Cry. :'(
You and I need to meet up sometime.....I will not only take you for a drive but, I will let you drive it yourself. 8-)

Hey Scott,
Like Dan said, I live in Jacksonville. Your more than welcome to come see my car. I'll even meet you half way on I-10 for lunch one day if you want. My Build # is 1044. I love driving it. I'm on vacation starting tomorrow for 2 weeks. The first week I'm staying home and spending time with the kids (fishing, skiing, motorcross..ect), The 2nd week, I will be on a cruise to the Bahamas. 8-).

General Information / Re: POR-15 frame from Hurricane
January 12, 2007, 10:23:15 AM
I POR-15'd my Frame my self and It was pretty easy. Did it in one day and 1 Gallon is more than enough. The only thing that was a pain was I had to take apart the whole front suspension and rear suspension that Hurricane put together for me which took a whole wee-end. And then another week-end to put it all back together after the Frame was painted. So, you can actually save yourself 5 days if you have hurricane paint the frame for you.

Hey Chris,
I built my entire motor myself, from top to bottom. It should be above 425 HP. 347 Stroker w/ Alluminum Heads w/ 10:1 compression, Z-303 Cam, Hypertecnic Pistons, Roller Rockers, Roller lifters, Edelbrock intake and Carb. I'd like to get some more information on your motor to see how close they are built and also let me know how it did onthe Dino.
Thanks,
Phil

September 11, 2006, 01:28:17 PM
Hey All,
I didnt want to post this pic because I wasnt sure on the overall feelings of this color. This is the color I'm painting my Car. Its called Copper Head Pearl. I decided on this 2 Years ago.
I found this Car on the Club Cobra Forum. I dont know who's car it is, I've had the pic for a long time now.

General Information / Re: How Loud?

Hey Larry,
After reading my post. I posted the wrong cam. Its the Z-303.
Its the most radical cam they make for the 5.0L 302. It has a 290 deg duration and .552" lift.
Very..Very little knowledge I have in the timming department. The closest I can get it is 25 deg TDC. Again, I am clueless in this department.
Also, It does not idle easy...It shakes, rattles and rolls....My Wife say's it sounds like its gonna shut off... ;D
