Shout out to the Hurricane boys...
« on: December 13, 2022, 10:52:02 PM »
I just want to put a thank you out to the Hurricane boys for continuing to stand by their product in providing customer service and continued support as the company goes through this transition time.  Some know, I've been working through some significant issues with my car which the guys at Hurricane continue to assist me with and have worked to resolve in a fair manner.
My car is currently in for paint and I am looking forward to having it on the road this summer with all the bugs worked out.  I'll update with pictures once I get them from the paint shop.

Me as well. I have found a few missing things and Jake took care of them after Alec left. And any info needed. It's very nice they help and assist like this. Few of us could be left holding the bag. I just hope this website does not shut down. It's a huge asset to me and those still building. My car is a bit of a long term project. And I am always on here looking for pictures and info.

My car is the only one left in Iowa to my knowledge, and it is getting close to ready to ship.  Jake has been fantastic in responding to my calls and answering my questions.  To my knowledge he is the only person left working for Hurricane and is doing everything.  I would really hope they do not shut down this forum, as it is a very important source of information I intend to rely heavily on since the manual is pretty much useless.  Perhaps it would be a good idea for the active members to consider creating a separate forum just in case?

Larry,

We can always migrate to the Club Cobra forum.  There is a Hurricane subforum there, as well as a build log subforum.  I'm happy to be of help as much as I can along the way, as well, so please don't ever hesitate to reach out.

Paul Proefrock has been a supporter of this forum for a long time and if it comes to a point where Hurricane cannot or will not support this forum, Paul may have some ideas as to how best to move forward with this forum.

Agree Aaron always found the Boys to be helpful and fair, and I wish them well.
I don't get on the forum much and since the future of the site seems unclear want to let my fellow Hurricane owners know how to reach me.

Hi Aaron,

Great to hear you've worked out the suspension issue and that you're onto paint!  Can't wait to see photos.

Merry Christmas!
