Thanks Jim. I see your up in McKinney. Bunch of builds in the area looks like. I'm just south and east of Kaufman a bit. I saw another new build going to Granbury, and of course Bob over in Midlothian. We will have to keep in touch when we start building Cant wait!

Yep, anyone in the north Texas area needs any help, just let me know ~  I've about seen it all, and already made all the mistakes!       We need to have  Texas Hurricanes gathering  ;)

I'm just a short, enjoyable, Sunday (no traffic) drive from ya  :)

I know!   We love cruising all over Ellis county, to Waxahachie (Pops burgers, Big Al's, College St. pub)  to Maypearl (Busy Bee cafe),  Venus (Sunrise cafe), to Italy/Frost (my dad's ranch), Garrett (Galaxy Drive-In Theatre), Bristol (Sugar Ridge Winery).   I know exactly where you are ;)

Hope you are staying high and dry with this trinity river basin flooding ....

sense I cant work on the real thing :'( I picked up a 1/16 scale model to try my paint scheme out on. I tried out the stripes as I described earlier but didn't like them. Went to the standard layout with some pin stripes. The pin stripes wont be that big but that's as small as I could get them on this model. You cant see in picture but the blue pearl looks incredible in the sun. Also wanted to see how it looked with the chrome blacked out. Think I like it. I'll add the pipes, roll bar, mirrors et and see.........

Nice color. Mine is going blue also but no stripes. I like what you have going on. Good plan.

I just heard that MINE will not be ready until the end of July! >:(

Alec says you will be picking yours up?  I would be interested in hearing how you will be doing this. I tried to email you from this forum, but I am not sure it worked.

Just saw this Jim. Planing on making a trip up with 22ft trailer. Was thinking about Stewart but I don't want to wait on them. Plus I'm just really ready for a road trip and get out of the house for a few days. My daughter and I planing on trip and maybe a bit of fishing on the way home :) You can reach me at bnelson7093@yahoo.com

Just an FYI. I talked to Stewart and he says he's trying to get a truck up there the 28th. I told him if he could pick mine up and get it to me by the 1st or 2nd I'd use him. Otherwise I'm throwing my trailer behind my truck and headed north about 12 hours. Last time I used Stewart their truck broke down on the east coast and I had to wait an additional 6 weeks. That wont happen again!

Bruce, My son and I drove from DFW to Lake City, IA and BACK in one trip to pick up ours .... in 26 hours.    Pulled a 16' tandem axle trailer with my 2002 Toyota Tacoma.
