Sunburst wheels. Still needs the spinners. And bias ply F60 Goodyears. In final stages at Hurricane. Alec ordered rims and tires. Wanted to be sure backspace was good. And they fit around the wilwood brakes. Hope kit is ready for del soon. No ship day yet. But soon!

Well not much new to update. The kit has hit some delays. And hopefully should be ready to ship sometime in Jan or Feb. So I continue to plan things while getting the drive line sorted. This pandemic has really put a damper on things. But we plug forward. I've been reading a lot. Came across the "History of our cars" thread which is very interesting. If the facts/rumors are true it seems the original Component Craft molds were splashed off CSX 3235. If I can confirm that as fact I may model my car after CSX 3235 as sort of a tribute to Component Craft/Hurricane Motorsports. CSX 3235 today resides at LMC in Canada. They have quite the collection of original 289-427 Cobras, Shelby Mustangs and GT40's. I counted 70+ cars on their website. Wow!! And millions of dollars! Best I can tell CSX 3235 started life as a 66 Street car. Today it still is in Street trim except for the Halibrand wheels and black sidepipes. Best I can tell it Brittany Blue which is a light silver-blue color. Not sure what the Cobra color was called. And I've seen dark and light shades of it. I like the lighter shade which is more silver with a whisper of blue. Hopefully attached is a picture of the car today. I'm going to reach out to LMC and hopefully get a few answers about the cars history and color. If anyone has any info please hit me up.

Glenn,

The color would be Sky Blue from AC back then, Brittany was a Ford color I believe.
I need to get an update as well since we're in the same boat.

Short update. Frame and rear are ready for powdercoat. Heading off next week with Greg's frame. Final check off when back that all parts are in. Ship shortly after. Alec sent me some frame and body pics. Very happy! Body looks great. Oh I went with a matte/satin black on powdercoat.

Paul, did some research on Component Craft as well. He may have some additional info for you.

Few more shop pictures. I have also changed gears on the intake manifold. I have a nice original Ford PI aluminum intake I planned to use. Dennis from DSC Motorsports posted a ad on FordFE.com that he had a order in for some Blue Thunder 427 MR intakes. My original plan was to use one of those. But there were none available at the time. So I have one coming this week. It'll add a nice boost to performance over the stock PI. Hopefully hood clearance will play nice. I'll get a pic of that soon.

*********Edit to add*********
Was told kit will be ready for pickup on Jan 19. Few things on back order they will ship asap. Stewart Transport will ship her east when they are in the area again.  ;D

Just got word Stewart is picking up my kit end of the week. Looking for delivery on 1-30 or so. They had a few Covid cancellations which changed the delivery schedule. I got bumped to top of list.

Also the Blue Thunder MR intake being used. And the Holley 3255. Will breathe better than the stock PI I had planned on the 452".

Thanks Greg. I do hope yours is ready soon! Been a long haul for all.

And this is the Aviad Oil Pan I'm using. Overall nice pan. But for the money I had to make a few tweeks here and there to fit. Need the dipstick. And see what plugs or sensors I'll need/use.
S/A Pentroofs. These are a nice cast and polished aluminum set I found vs the stamped steel chrome plated version.
