Greg,

Have you started the engine with that Anti-gravity Battery?  Or have you determined that it will, in fact, start a Windsor motor?  I'm about to order one.  Oh and where did you get those door straps from?  Look very nice.

Have started mine many times and no issue, I also have their battery mount. The check straps are from here on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/281321646337

I was originally going to make these straps black, but they had already been dyed with a tan color. After testing on the backside of one of them, I knew I was not going to be happy with the outcome, so I left them alone. Mounted one end to the uprights on the upper frame and added a 5/16" shoulder bolt, 3" long by drilling the hinge arms to locate. Could have done it several different ways, but this is what I ended up with the premade straps.

Looks great, and my favorite color of leather!

Progress slowed for a bit due to concern for my engine. Between the holidays and cold weather, I had what we thought was a possible coolant leak. Have no idea where the evidence came from or how long it had been in a little spot on top of the timing cover on the passenger side. So I kept an eye on it to see if it would reappear after wiping it up. Then we had some humid weather that played games with me.
Got ahold of a cooling system adapter/hose and pressure tested the system over the weekend. I can relax and sleep better now, no major repairs needed. Tested it to 10 pounds and held it there for 10 minutes and then 15 pounds for 5 minutes...No leaks!  8)

Mounted the windshield today, went in just the same after drilling the holes for it when it first arrived. Escutcheon plates will be put on after paint.

Can't beat that. Always nice when things like that come together as planned.

Slowly but getting there, started on getting the seat bases bolted back in, need another hand to get them tightened up and couldn't help myself with another shot of the car from today.
After getting the bases done, will work on the belts and bolting the seats in. Once the seats are set, I'll probably ditch the adjuster bars, I bent them by hand and not happy with how they turned out, should have used a bending tool instead.

More seat work today...Driver's seat has just a little more lean back than passenger side. Passenger seat can also move back a click or two. The lap belt is a pull up style which makes it easier to adjust in these cars. Need to bolt in shoulder harness to frame behind tub still though.

Greg, are those Kirkey seats, or from that place outside of Tyler, Texas?

Bob,

They are the Ultra Shield seats, just south of Tyler.

I may have to butt-test yours at some point , or more importantly get the wife to butt-test.  If wife ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

My Sube-sports seats from hurricane are not holding up well...

I planned to have all LED lighting for my build, one of the last items to convert was the license plate lamp.
Started with obtaining a dual LED module for the lamp, removed the bullet connectors and bulbs from the lamp.
Used 2 sided tape to mount the LED module to the upper part of the back plate in the lamp, the existing brass roll used to secure the wire internally and out the back.
Reassembled and connected to a 9-volt battery to test.

Nicely done, any information on the LED you used would be greatly appreciated.
