No new orders have been taken since long before the sale of Hurricane. There are a couple of people that were promised a few parts. Unfortunately they will probably never see them but at least everyone that ordered a car, received one.

It looks like Chris bought the company to use it to "funnel" cash thought and use it to fund his other racing endevors

I feel for people that got tied up with this guy, But living in metro NY we have a few notable ponzi schemes gone arry and I know  some people that lost significant amounts in them. Its funny how one can see the signs but be in complete denile of them hoping for a different finale, we felt them here logging on looking for some good news but in our guts we knew how it would end

As for recievership I just purchased a comercial building through it and it can drag on for months with a purchase having to be cash only which in this ecconomy would limit prospective buyers

So what becomes of the assets?  Do they auction them off? It would be great if a bunch of Cobra enthusiasts could form a LLP and re-start the company.  I think the Hurricane 427 was a great looking car.  Sorry, still is!! I was even considering building one in the future.

Jim,you are absolutely correct, bad economy, nobody's spending  their cash reserves, financing is questionable and car values are down.
There is very nice Superformance here in Havasu with a Roush engine, good car. He wanted $65000. two years ago...then $59900.....now $45000., where is it going to stop?   :-/

Tough times call for patience and conservative thinking ...things will get better down the road.
Have fun with what you got..it's all smoke and mirrors anyway.   :-?

Seems if one had the cash and a place to store the jigs, molds and bits and no hurry to get it up and running, this would be a great time to buy.  All we need to do is find an honest business man that has heaps of money, lots of patience, a dry warehouse, integrity and is a gearhead...how hard can that be?

yes we fired up Bad Agnes once, and her vocals are loud and clear but now we are working on her fine acoustics and trust me you will
hear her over her heart beat she has a new soul now i replaced the Kenwoods with PDX Alpines to get more volume and save space in her trunk. Oh yes pics are to follow on our build site later.
