Ya dem chickens keep on layin eggs, da ducks keep on quackin and da poo in da barn yard jus keep gittin deeper.   :-X

It's a shame that "so called " business people can't do the right thing, no matter what the circumstances are. Just like our government leaders, CEO's and large companys can't get it right either.
What is this world coming to...it's not good.   :-/

Da Hunch is most likely a good one!

Not shocked Bill
The trouble with people is not that they don't know , but that they know so much that ain't so.

Some might say these cliches would be "apropot:"

"Easy come, easy go."
"Keep you day job."
"All hat and no cows."
"... robbing Peter to Pay Paul..."
"Which shell is the marble under?"
"Round and round she goes, where she stops, nobody knows."
"... all we need now is some venture capital."
"Smoke & Mirrors."

It is not uncommon for an entrepreneur to go bankrupt four, five, six times, or even go a lifetime before achieving a modicum of success through get rich quick schemes.

Me, I chose the get rich slow method. 20 years and counting at the same employer and invested a lifetime of dreams and savings into my tribute car. I hope no one we know or hold dear got rolled up in the latest default.

Jay, thanks again.

If papa White's day job is construction, he's gotta be hurting in this economy. That means dumb and dumber might have to get by with fewer toys. ;D
Wish I were proved wrong, but I was sure of this outcome early on.

Are you just THAT clueless or haven't you read what the hell is going on here?  Yes some money transfered but KEEP UP with what the heck is going on.  Selective reading and the "head in the sand syndrom, or wherever you have it" are not helping you here.

Try going to the new owners group website and get a grip.

Jay,

Okay, you were part of the new Hurricane but something fell apart in the deal. That's fine. Then the new owners that ousted you are screwing things up. That's fine too. I don't see any purpose of your grade school comments other than to try to stir the pot. You are no longer a part of Hurricane, if it even still exists. Time to get over it, grow up and move on. ::)

Hey, I agree with Jim.
Jay what's your story, you got "the shaft and not the mine", so what happened?  We need to  have better understanding of what happrened to you and your deal with the Whites's, a little more insight would clear up the situation.   :-?

It's apparent that these guys are not very bright and most likely broke due to the economy.   :-/

Perhaps the company assets will be on the market in the future, ready for somebody to pick-up and go forward..... ::)

Who knows,  maybe we will be the only owners of the Arps/Burroughs Hurricane SC 427's, and they will become collector cars....like...you know.   ;D

Anyway, Best regards to everyone,  Bill

Thanks, Fuzzy.  I checked it out and it appears to be an owners' only website, is that correct?  Since I'm only a "hopeful" at this point, nothing to add to the registry, I have to ask before I leap--is the site membership available to the faithful wannabe's, too?
