Well .. with the current state of affairs with Hurricane, I would venture to guess that this forum's days are numbered. What say Ye?

It would be a big mistake to shut it down!   :-X

This is the only "real link" to the Hurricane SC 427 and the car owners.  The active forum is a valuable asset especially if the Company is for sale.

Somebody mentioned that an E-mail list and a mailing list of current owners would be a great thing to have, a future Hurricane Club or association might become something to consider?   ::)

The trouble with people is not that they don't know , but that they know so much that ain't so.

Are you hoping the forum days are numbered?  The forum is safe even if Hurricane Motorsports takes a while to transition to a new owner.  The servers that host the forum and web site belong to Hurricane Software and will be maintained and operational for a long time to come.

I have been watching this forum for a couple of years and this is the first time I have posted anything but I feel that this should not go away.  I have been saving for a while and just about had the money for a Hurricane and I have done a lot of research on most of the manufacturers to have decided for the money this was one of the most complete kits available as well it one of the best engineered.  So while I don't really know why the sale fell through or why this company is closing as a result I hope someone buys it and keeps it going, before I have to go to FFR or a kit I have determined to be something less than desireable as the Hurricane is.
I have enjoyed watching these get assembled and see little building ideas, it would be a shame to lose that. :  :'(

There are over 100 satisfied owners of Hurricanes who stand with and behind you, Mike.

I think I speak for all that when a new owner surfaces, you can count on us.

Ken , Sounds good to me!      ;D

The problem is my stimulus check won't make a dent in the cost of the trip, but hay "it's the thought that counts".   :-?

Quick question...

How do guys running a software company end up with a Cobra manufacturing business to start with?  Just curious.

Also, why selling?  Too much to deal with? Too much interference with the software business?

I had 2 businesses as well.  Had to shut one down because it was 80% of my headache, but only 20% of my profit!
