I am curious where people have deviated from the standard kit.

What modifications have you made to your car, and how happy are you with the results?

Thanks,

Kevin

Kit options for HM-1073:
Limited slip Ford 9" w/ 320 gears
Aluminum Firewall
Coil over upgrade
Dual round rear tailights (come on the street model std)
Glove box (come on the street model std)
Frame coating
Wilwood Dynalite pro brake Rears
Wilwood Superlite 6 Big Brake Fronts
Keith Craft 427FE @ 622HP and 630TQ hooked to a Performance automatic Pro Street C-4 with a 10" converter.

Mids so far- powder coated quick-jacks, aluminum panels and trunk/hood hinges, long fuel access door, welded bolts to frame front and rear for battery and engine grounds, had pipes "ceramic" coated at Swain Technologies, added oxy sensor gauge to dash.

I am very happy with all of my choices, mods and parts of the build so far. These are great kits to build.

Kevin,
I have detailed the mod's I've made on my website. In a nutshell,

Rear Bracket / U-bolt for trunk latch
Drivers Footbox drop
Mechanical throttle linkage
Hydraulic slave - push type
Fuel tank vent
Drive shaft loop
Fresh Air vents
Frame Grounding studs

Mod's planned but not finished

Remove footbox notches for louvres
Remove fairing under front parking lights
Headlight buckets for better lamp/trim ring fit

The kit is excellent - I am on a kick to be "period correct" and also an incessant tinker
