Angelo, I've been looking for the Houston Cobra Club member who is a Hurricane owner.
Retired and attempting to age disgracefully!!

Doug,

did you receive my PM?

YerDugliness

Yes, I did--I sent a reply, did you get that one?

Sorry I didn't have time to come by last weekend as I suggested--you have no idea how excited I am about getting to see a Hurricane up close!

Angelo ,I too am going with a 289ci t-5 tranny I just gettin to the wireing how,s that thing run....
#1060 289 350hp,48 ida's

Runs great!

The 289 helps keep the weight balanced compared to a big block.  Handles very well in turns and not as much effort to turn.

You should have miles of fun with it.

Angelo, I was just looking at your member info and it dawned on me you're not listed as a Hurricane Owner.

Thanks for the heads up on the whole owner access deal.  I turned on the owner access for his account.

Wow, Angelo--nice ride!!

Thanks for taking the time to show it to me and answer my many questions.

If it's not in the registry, I'd suggest you do so.

Now I see why Hurricanes don't often come on the market.  Great build quality and good engineering.  :)

hey angelo,

will send you a PM, but would like to come out and look at your ride.  Group of us in houston are getting ready to buy 2 or 3 kits.  Would like to come out and sit in one and maybe bring one of my partners in crime.

One will be a true 427 big block build and one will be a fuel injected 351 or maybe stroker.  Trying to determine how much is too much on the horsepower front.
