What have most people been using and how well do they work?

By looks of the kit, a power brake booster is not supplied, are the standard brakes good enough?
What type of booster is used and does it work ok with the Wilwood pedals and Master Cylinder, thanks

I asked the same question of Mike the other day.  His response was that the manual brakes work very well in the car, since the brakes are designed for a vehicle twice the weight of the Cobra it will stop very well.  He also informed me that it would be difficult to make the standard setup power brakes, that doesn't mean it can't be done... anything can be done but the question would be as you state would it be worth it.

After talking to several people on another board as well as me almost hour phone call with Mike (from Hurricane) I don't think power brakes will be needed.

Hope this helps.

I have the standard brakes on mine and they work really well. I don't really see a need for power brakes. I'm sure it could be done but I don't think it would be worth all the effort involved. You could always go with the Wilwood option if you wanted extra stopping power.

I have the standard brake option with a 351W and they work plenty well.  Much better than I expected.

With two seperate master cylinders controling front and rear brakes, the two masters aren't far enough apart for a booster. Power brakes could be added I suppose but it would require using a single master cylinder intended for power brakes or a single master with a small booster and it's own vacuum pump. (One local FFR has this set up)
Would require a different pedal set up too.
Not as desireable IMO.
