Any idea when info on the Street Roadster (vs the S/C Roadster) will be posted on the Hurricane site?

I have an interest in the street version of the roadster (which will comply better in my area's inspection process). Some of you don't mind the looks of heat shields on the s/c pipes (when required) but i flat out refuse to change the s/c look. So the street version with under chassis exhaust will be my choice of poison LOL.

My version will be minus the roll bar and hood scoop.I do want the full bumper/overrider assembly front and rear. I have been pondering the use of two of the hood louvers from a GT 500 for my hood near the corners close to the latches (to help remove heated air while stopped in traffic).

I will keep an eye peeled in this forum and hope to hear some good news for all of us who like the looks of a street 427.....:)

Hears the song "Anticipation" playing in my head ;D

We have shipped a street version of our Hurricane 427 kit just as you are describing.  Under car exhaust, no hood scoop, no roll bar, street dash layout and the glove box.  We are waiting to make a "public" announcement until we get the one we are working on in house complete.  It will be painted this Saturday and we still have some assembly to do.   We will post more information as it becomes available.

Any pics yet on the Street Hurricane

I've seen photo's of the finished body and it looks really good. I think the car is still under construction though but I suspect Mike and crew will be having an unveiling soon.

I "think" (always dangerous) they are hoping to have it ready for the Good Guys show in K.C. on Sept 1,2,3.  But they're so darned busy down there...

Anybody snap pics of the street car at the show? Talk about good looking!! I have a few pics but I need to know how to post them. :)

DanC

In response to an email yesterday, Mike said they have it painted but the chassis is not all assembled yet.  He said they will have it together before long and post some photos on the forum as soon as it's complete.
