side nose aluminum. Also handmade shroud like Ryan did, (details on his build site) Thanks Ryan. The handmade one goes over the one I bought from Finishline. All required bending, sizing, tweaking, etc. But it came out great.

That's Gavin, the kid across the street that's been helping me. He was claiming to have his head stuck in his mailbox.  He is the first kid in the neighborhood to call "Shotgun"....

I told him I was going to put this picture on the internet for everyone to laugh at....LOL....

Took it out for the first ride.  Still have to get scoop on, fix gas tank leak and dyno tune.  Pretty cool when you can smoke the tires going 60 MPH. Pics to come soon.

Keith does a nice job with those 482's eh!

danc30

Yes he does. It's scary fun to say the least.  I haven't "pushed" it yet.  I need to log a few more miles and get it dynoed. Then I will "try" to hold it to the floor thru 2nd.  Should be very interesting to see if I can do it. The pucker factor will be huge..... [smiley=happy.gif]

Dan, looks like I'm going to be tight on my air cleaner to hood scoop clearance. About 1/4" or less is what I have now. Where do you find your taller hood scoop and is it about the same length and width as the one that came with the kit? Also, about how much height did you gain? Thanks.

Dan, no problem. I finally just drilled two 1/4" holes on each side at the back cut my scoop down each side to the holes in the back and blocked the scoop up about 3/4"-1" higher and glassed in the gaps on each side. Works fine.
