Still looks like the mufflers hang low enough that a speed-bump might cause them some grief.

Just curious, Mike--does 1050 have the dropped foot boxes?

Aside from the custom trunk, it should be doable.
The trunk is still full size, you can see the outline of it through the back window.
From what it looks like to me, when the top is off, you would have a full size trunk, with the lower half visible in the pic to open downward, and the top half opening up as normal. Pretty slick actually.
That top REALLY changes the look of the car and looks very 'Classy'...
Maybe the thing to do would be to find someone willing to make a 2-piece trunk lid and that style of top and sell them as a 'kit' together

Hurricane's hardtop is finished and on HM1081, can see in the Build section (NorJak).

QuoteI wonder if you can combine a few options.

Ditto to what Eric said, the guys at Hurricane sure seem to work hard to please the customer.  I ordered my kit with dual roll bars, set up for a SBC with a TH350, under car exhuast, the new hardtop and Right Hand Drive.  This ended up being a bit of a challenge for all concerned but seems like in the end its going to be just what the doctor ordered.  While it took longer, about 7 months, mostly trying to get a RHD steering rack and the engine builder delaying an extra two months, and the development time for the hardtop, it is there for all to see, well at least it was, its being crated up to send overseas.  Flipping everything over left to right is no small engineering feat and the new mounts for motor and trans plus new headers and ends for the undercar exhaust were different too.   I would say that Hurricane and it's crew are top notch and very flexible.  While they may not be able to squeeze a hemi in, they are a very "can do" type of company.
