Thanks to China-Corona-Wuhan-COVID our annual Spring Meet based in San Marcos, Texas was postponed .... but now the party is ON !

www.texascobrameet.com Hurricane Motorsports will be there with their trailer and the latest Coyote-powered demo car! The usual Hurricane owners will be present: Yours Truly, Ken Walker, Russ Rittimann, Richard Parker, Nathan Parker, and more. I'll be driving mine from Dallas/Ft.Worth down Hwy 281 arriving Wednesday afternoon. Here is the latest update from the TCC Austin group :
The Texas Cobra Club Fall starts in 2 weeks (that's 14 days, approx. 336 hours, 20160 minutes, or 1,209,600 seconds…but whose counting!).
Here are the numbers as of 8pm 9/22/2020:

99 Cars registered (so far)
118 Banquet Tickets sold
10 Different states represented
Here are a few updates and new-worthy items:
· The Embassy Suite will offer a hot breakfast served cafeteria-style (not buffet) each morning.
· The hotel’s restaurant and coffee shop WILL NOT BE OPEN
· The hotel will hold its Manager’s Happy Hour from 5:30-7:30pm each night.
· The hotel's bar will be open daily until 10pm.
· Social Distancing and masks should be worn while in the building.
· Out of an abundance of safety and caution, Dave Fried, our guest speaker, has postponed his presentation until our 2021 Spring Meet.
· We will have a very special guest speaker on Saturday….more details to come!
· As of now, we will NOT be holding the Hamburger cookout on Friday night because of COVID rules on food services.
· I will have a list of local restaurants near the hotel available at our Registration Desk.
· If you have anything for the Silent Auction please let us know as soon as you arrive so that we prepare the bid sheet accordingly.
