Ok I have to admit, the car is mine, I just found the barn.  Just thought they went well together.

Nice picture of the Cobra, it  looks good by the barn....watch out for ants in the grass!

Very Cool, Bill
The trouble with people is not that they don't know , but that they know so much that ain't so.

I like your take on a "barn find".
Welcome to the forum Curt.
Did you build your Hurricane or buy it? What chassis number?

I am the fourth owner.  HM1041.  I purchased it two years ago and have done a lot of "clean up" work on the car as I was not happy with how it was assembled.  I would love to build one from scratch if I had the time.

In case you didn't already know, your car was built by Dan Murdock. And, if you care, this link will take you to all of his posts and replies. May give you some insight.

Thanks Matt for the link.  Defiantly gives some insight to the car. I had talked to Dusty and found out the original owner but could not contact him.  Back in the 80's we used to go to Vintage races with a friend of mine that had a original 427.  Those were the days!  It took me a year to beat my wife down into letting my buy one.  I like the Hurricane since it is so close to the original cars.  I wish mine had some of the changes the newer cars have as they are closer to the originals still. Sure do love to drive the thing!
