The Hurricane kit options call for a Clutch Slave Cylinder.

I just received a reply from Richard @ HMS to my email I sent him early this morning.  Guess I should be patient.  Although he did not completely say it could be done.

His reply: I believe that you can change the clutch fork and use our slave cylinder just fine. I know we have many T5 Transmissions in use out there that are hooked up to our slave cylinders. Most of them are World Class T5 transmissions and they might be sightly different from a standard T5.

I think this is probably a standard T5.  Any experts out there know for sure what is required to make it work?  Also is the Slave cylinder easier or harder to depress the cltuch than the cable method?  Right now with the Spec 1 clutch it is pretty firm so any improvement would be nice.

 :) Hi RadTexas
I have a 302V8 with a stock alum bellhousing mated to a T5-Z five speed. I was able to use the slave cyld that came with the kit. See pics

radtexas,

Here's another idea for mounting the slave cylinder, in case you don't have the skills or tools to fabricate a bracket like Mike used (I sure don't!).

Thanks for the replies.  Either of these look like good solutions.  I feel better now.  :)
