this is good,
first all my prayers go out to every one ya know all the suffering going on, floods, earthquakes, our failed govt. system,
and as far as me i just want to paint Bad Agnes.
i understand that color should be easy to decide...............NOT!
and posting on my build page is been mute but finding time to correspond is a little more difficult these days but i'm in this deep, and money tight, and family first and all.
just saying hello and wish every one well.
so BYAO. and please be good.

hey! Bill S.,
i think the colors are Cadillac, as far as i know everyone is on the new site, i want to join, but i don't have much to say, i can't wait,
till i drive her down the road.
every thing that i read here was leaned. I said it once these guys are like my Dad. it has been very expensive, but what the hell isn't.
i first completed a project  I'am proud of and Robert(my Son) i work on houses and this is a great escape. She is truly Bad Agnes.
Prayer works if you truly Believe.

Everybody's over at the new site, http://hm-cobra.proefrock.net.  But I hear the new owners of Hurricane are going to assume the management of this forum any day, so who knows what will happen.  Lots of good info and pictures here for sure.

Hi guys, I still lurk here, Eric glad to hear BA is almost done....1081 is still like a bottle of old wine in the cooler, aging peacefully.  Been a lot of disaster in and around Indo these days, we had a big sway here about 3 weeks ago, whole house ( 2 floors) back and forth for about 15-20 seconds but it all moves as one and thank the Lord, no cracks or problems.  Heaps of others haven't been so fortunate.  My friend Paul who built an Almac Cobra (kit from New Zealand) lives in Padang, Indo where they had the big quake last week.  He designed his house according to NZ earthquake proof standards and other than a couple of wall cracks and everything falling out of the cupboards, their house and family were safe while most of their neighborhood was reduced to rubish.  folks laughed at him when he was building, some of those folks didn't make it through last week.  Don't understand why God allows these things to happen, same as floods in the South of the US and tornados, hurricanes and such but maybe some day when we all meet our Maker it will be revealed to us.  Until then , we need to keep our faith strong and help each other in every way we can.   God Bless the Hurricane family and do your best to keep you and yours safe.   ken

Hey Bill!

I still drop by time to time too. There's much in the way of info on the "Dark Side", so I search it when needed.

And now its time for New Year's Resolutions......again.....so we are going to make a big attempt to have 1081 on the road at least in go-kart stage by this time next year....LOL says my wife....will be fun here when new owners start poping up and things start cracking again...ya'll take care, keep warm, keep dry  and keep the rubber side down for 2010.   Lord willin' and the creeks don't rise, we'll all be here this time next year.   ken     :)
