Driving Impressions

I'm surprised there aren't more posts from guys that have their cars on the road concerning ride and handling impressions. I have no reason to expect nothing short of "Outstanding," but there's not much on the board. For those of you that have finished your build, how about some stories about first drive impressions, performance in competitive settings, etc. Did it meet your expectations? If nothing else, your stories will motivate the rest of us to finish our cars in time for the first warm day after the snow if finally gone.

OK here is one. The first time I drove this thing I had a 6000 rev limiter chip installed. I have an engine that will turn 7000 in a heart beat. I just was being conservative at first. It revs up so fast that you cannot watch the tach until you are used to the car. Stuff just happens too quickly, so quickly that I plan to install a shift light.
