Doing some research and planning for a build some day. Will probably start building an engine next spring. Plans are for a FSB 302 with GT40P heads [99-01 Explorer engine], Edlebrock Performer RPM intake, Trickflow Stage 1 cam and a carburator. Was wondering what experience others have had with Deamon, Edelbrock and Holley carbs. 600 CFM should be max size. 500 and 570 CFM would also be OK since I would be looking for street machine performance. Any thoughts?

Bill, one thing I would suggest is to consider the type of transmission you'll be using and the cam.
Retired and attempting to age disgracefully!!

I used a 600CFM Edlebrock for my 302V8 and it works great. That size is a good match for the 302!!
