Anyone near Chicago with a Hurricane I could look at? I'm just about ready to pull the trigger and buy but I would like to see one first.

I'm in Waupun , Wisconsin. It takes me 3 hrs. to O'Hare from here. Don't know if that is to fare but if you would like to look I would be more than happy to show you my build so far.

Hi Leon,

Thanks for responding. Thats not too far. About an hour to an hour and a half depending on traffic. I found another Hurricane builder here in Illinois and I'm going to meet with him this weekend but I would also like to meet with you and check out your build. Are you happy with the kit? What options did you buy from Hurricane? How far along are you?  I plan on ordering this week so any advise would be greatly appreciated. Maybe I could drive up in the next couple of weeks if you have the time.

Options , I bought the heater , Wipers , Adjustable coil overs , front brake upgrade , 3.70 gear ratio and  alum. engine compartment kit. Wish I would have bought , side pipes chromed and roll bar chrome , found out there price for chrome is pretty reasonable. I may buy the inner door panels also.
I am almost ready to fit the body , drive train is in , chassis is complete , car is plumbed and wired.
I am very happy with my build , can't wait to here it run and try it out on our road.
