Hood scoops?

As I surf through the build threads and finished kit board I notice 2 different hood scoops in use, and I suspect there are probably more if I'd look more closely.

Some have what appear to be scoops molded into the hood, others have scoops riveted on.
Retired and attempting to age disgracefully!!

Hey Doug,
The early cars have a molded in hood scoop. In response to what the customers prefered, Hurricane changed to a rivet on scoop with the later cars. You might check with Mike Arps, but I would think that a customer would now have a choice as to which scoop (molded/riveted) they wanted, or none at all. Also, to add to the confusion, some of us with earlier cars changed over to the rivet on scoop so you'll see some of each style, even on the early cars.

HTH,
Mike

#6 had the molded scoop.

In an effort to make the car more true to the originals, the rivet on hood scoop is now standard with all new kits. The molded hood scoop is still available.
