Which tail lights did the original 427 Cobras have the rectangle or the round ones.

Hi,
Actually, both the rectangular and the round tail lights were used on the original cars. To the best of my knowledge the round ones started appearing on all Cobras after CSX3201 until production ended. One story is that they switched from the rectangle units to round after they had used up the supply of rectangular tail lamps. The other story is the rectanglular units were not bright enough. There are alot more originals with the rectangular lights than there are with round lights.
